Early Childhood Educator's Spring Conference

  • Saturday, March 25, 2017, 8:30 AM - 4:15 PM

Registration is now open for the 2017 Spring Conference to be held on March 25th from 8am-4:05pm at the Oneida County Farm & Home Center.

Schedule of Workshops and Events: 

  • 8:30am – Regulations Jeopardy
  • 9:35am – Developmentally Appropriate Practice or Child Abuse, Maltreatment and SBS
  • 11:10am – National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (keynote)
  • 12:10pm – Lunch
  • 1:00pm – Nutrition in Child Care or Yoga
  • 2:35pm – Transforming Transitions or Online Provider Services

REGISTER ONLINE

For the online registration, please fill in your personal information and select your registration type. Please be aware of the following when registering:

  • Please complete a separate registration for each participant.
  • Student registration will require a photocopy of the student's current ID valid for Spring 2017 sent via mail to Child Care Council Attn. Courtney Jenne 121 Second St Oriskany NY 13424 or email caj88@cornell.edu. If we do not receive a photocopy of your student ID, then you will be asked to pay and additional $15 at the door.
  • Early Bird Online Registration will end on 2/24 at 4:30pm
  • General Online Registration will end on 3/17 at 4:30pm. Online registration will also end at this time.
  • Late registration ($85) will be charged to anyone whose mailed registrations are postmarked between 3/18 and 3/24. Any registrations postmarked after 3/24 will be charged for walk-in registration at the cost of $100.
  • Full Day Walk In registration is $100
  • Single Workshop Walk In registration is $30
  • Registration fees are non-refundable and workshops are filled on a first paid first served basis. We will contact you prior to the conference in the event that we need to place you into another workshop. A minimum of 5 participants are needed for workshops to be held. If 5 participants aren’t available you might be placed into another workshop.

EIP funding is available to help pay for the cost of this conference. (Apply for EIP HERE) Once your grant has been awarded, please forward the signed EIP award to us and you will be reimbursed for your class fees. Please contact Richelle Singer (315-223-7850 x 223) if you have your EIP award already and would like to pay for the conference OR if you have been denied EIP and would like to make use of Child Care Council Scholarship Funding.
